Kalaingar Centenary Library 

Spread over a massive area of 2.13 lakh square feet, the Kalaignar Centenary Library houses 3.3 lakh books and an art gallery that depicts the historical journey of Madurai as a city. 

The idea was to display the illustrious heritage of Madurai from the Sangam era to the present, on the glass panels that border the art gallery. It was designed and printed to allow light to seep through it making the gallery light up with an array of colours and have perfect legibility for viewers to read the text on the panels.
